IT Systems Administrator
LOCATION: Lincoln
SALARY: £ 35,000

The ROLE
The IT Systems Administrator will be required to:
*Responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Trust systems, hardware and software.
*Resolve hardware and software errors.
*Be involved in projects and major rollouts.
*Oversee and implement application and OS patches and upgrades, as well as managing and configuring cloud-based services such as Office 365.
*Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation.
*Produce documentation for support knowledge, procedures and call scripts that facilitate enhanced and continually improving support practices.
*33 days holiday, pension, life assurance.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong IT Systems Administrator candidate with the following skills and experience:
*Excellent knowledge and proficiency in at least four of the following technologies: Windows Server 2008/2012, Windows 7-10 Desktop, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, or Office 365, Virtualisation Technologies (Hyper-V / VMware) and Citrix.
*Knowledge of key backup systems and methodologies (Asigra / Veeam).
*Demonstrable ability to actively monitor and fault find within a domain environment.
*Good knowledge of IT security principles (including firewall configuration, VPNs, and DNS management), Networking, TCPIP, Firewalls, Routing, Switch Management and Virtual LANs.
*Knowledge of the configuration, setup and management of network devices, including routers, switchers and Wi-Fi devices.
*Experience in leading server capacity and availability management activities.
*Ability to produce accurate technical guidance and documentation.
*Proven and demonstrable experience in core areas of Microsoft OS, application and Office 365 management.
*Experience in the management and implementation of OS patching and data backup, and strong understanding of cloud-based systems and IaaS technologies.
*An excellent communicator who can prioritise and manage their own workload,
