Assistant Accountant/Part Qualified Accountant
Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire
Salary: c.£24-28K Depending on Experience + Excellent Package

The COMPANY

Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.

The ROLE

Due to continued growth of their EMEA business an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant/PQ Accountant to join their successful team. This role will involve;

*Invoicing
*Credit Control
*Collating data for individual projects
*Produce monthly financial statements
*VAT returns

This is not just "average" Assistant Accountant role, the right candidate will be a key member of teams working on international projects, some worth several million, that may take up to two years to complete and involve staged invoicing.

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a talented professional with experience preferably within a similar manufacturing environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

Accountancy - PQ or working towards CIMA/ACCA or fully AAT
Experience working in a finance department in industry
Sage 50 would be advantageous
Good credit control knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Ambitious
