Business Developer - Plastic Recycling
LOCATION: Based in Cambridgeshire but covering UK Wide
SALARY: £Very competitive Salary, OTE (uncapped) + Car Allowance.
Our Client are an innovative and successful plastic recycling company with a history of success throughout Europe. They have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of their service due to constantly concentrating on delivering solutions that are tailored specifically to match their Client's needs. We are proud to be helping them with their ongoing expansion within the UK.
Due to continual expansion we are now searching for a passionate and ethical Business Development Manager to build on their ongoing success. This is an interesting and challenging role where you are tasked with both identifying sources of plastic and trading/selling them on once they have been recycled.
The role is twofold;
*Business Development - You will be responsible for identifying customers within the industrial plastic industry and offering them cost effective & efficient solutions on how to deal with their plastic waste. Focusing on developing the UK market and identifying prospective Clients who have the requisite volume of plastic waste, sell them a solution and then use your strong account management skills to nurture the relationship for the long term.
*Trading - Negotiating and selling on the plastics once they have been recycled.
You will need to be an experienced and successful salesperson possessing;
*Experience within the plastic's market
*Demonstrable Field sales success
*History of winning and nurturing new business
*Passion for matching and exceeding Customer expectations
*Experience of selling a solution/service
*An ethical approach to business
*An inquiring and persistent mind
Experience of working in the following industries would be an advantage: Manufacturing sales, Procurement, Plastic Resins, Capital Equipment, Polymers, consultative services.
Knowledge of Injection molding, food manufacturing, packaging, agriculture would be nice to have and if you have attended any sales training though Miller Heiman or Huthwaite Spin, SPIN selling is a great advantage.
