Field Sales Consultant
Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 (excellent OTE, new car, mobile + laptop)
Contract Type: Permanent
Applicants MUST HAVE: Previous business to business field sales experience preferably in the education field.
Our client is a leading developer and publisher of web-based educational content. Our client is passionate about its product offering which is used and trusted in over 15,000 subscribing schools as part of their everyday teaching. Dedicated to creating new ways of delivering curriculum content, recognised with awards by educationalists, and adored by children everywhere, our client pioneers the evolution of teaching with technology.
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Maximising new business sales and renewals
*Provide onsite training and support.
*Attend regional and national conferences to promote our client.
*Constantly strive to build relationships in the market with a view to growing the business.
*Work with other internal and external sales colleagues in pursuit of the overall business sales target.
*Organize sales initiatives within Local Authorities that are supported by key stakeholders
*Report regularly on market conditions, opportunities and pipeline
*Weekly input into the action plan for coming week and report on previous week's activity.
*Go to the office 2-3 times a month.
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Be self-starting and personally motivated to achieve results.
*Experience of a target driven 'field sales' role.
*Experience of the E-Learning and Education market desirable but not essential.
*Sound knowledge of the 'Sales Cycle' and face to face interactions
*Minimum of 3 A-levels or equivalent.
*IT competence: basic IT literacy, MS Office, e-mail.
*Confident verbal and written communication.
