Corrugator/Machine Operator - Days
LOCATION: Corby/Kettering/Market Harborough area
SALARY: £9.51ph/£18,500 (rising incrementally when trained- the next being £11.06ph) + Overtime
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent with Client from start
HOURS: 6.00am - 2.00pm/2.00pm - 10.00pm Mon - Thur, 6.00am - 12.00Noon/12.00Noon - 6.00pm Fri
The COMPANY
Our Northamptonshire based client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion they now require additional Corrugator Operative to join their team. Your role is to produce a quality product (corrugated cardboard) on a consistent basis. This is achieved by checking dimensions, paper type and general quality of all boards at the start of every job and periodically throughout the run and completing all the associated paperwork. The hourly rate will increase from £9.51ph as more skills are learned to £11.06ph for a "Double Backer" Operative and potentially to £12.23ph. for a "Single Face" Operative.
