Process/Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Suffolk
SALARY: Depending on Experience+ Pension
The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working, predominantly, within the "Yellow Construction Industry" - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion our Client are recruiting a Process Evaluation Engineer. Working closely with the Quality Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of Process Engineering. The role will involve;
*Continually evaluating the manufacturing process
*Drive Continuous Improvement throughout the business
*Ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs)
*Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
*Inspection and calibration of manufacturing plant
*Get involved in NPI (New Product Introduction) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic engineer possessing the ambition to forge a career within a successful expanding engineering company. You will possess the following skills;
*Experience within a manufacturing environment
*Good engineering knowledge and training
*Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret CAD designs
Above all you will have the drive and enthusiasm to make a difference and implement new procedures/processes.
