CNC Setter/Programmer

SALARY: Depending on Experience - Overtime & Pension
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent with Client from start
HOURS: 8.00am. - 4.30pm.
The COMPANY
Our Rutland based client are part of a Global Company who have carved a niche for themselves as the acknowledged market leaders in the supply and repair of industrial alternators and motors. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. This has been achieved this by continually investing in their manufacturing facilities, R & D and, importantly, having a well-trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to an imminent retirement they now require a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join their team. Working for a wide variety of customers from a myriad of industries you will be responsible for ensuring quality products are delivered throughout the product lifecycle. Duties will include;
*Programming/setting Fanuc and Siemens.
*Ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings.
*Measure all first off production components.
*Working to tight tolerances
*Inspect own work and carry out first off inspections for others
*Some project-based work developing new automated systems.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career. You will possess;
*CNC machining experience
*Apprenticeship or technical qualification
*Knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls
*Ability to set up fixtures, tooling and programs
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
