Business Development Manager- Cable to OEMs
Location: Covering South Yorkshire
Salary: £38-41K Basic + £6K OTE + Car + Pension.

The COMPANY
Our client, a Global distributor of engineering spares/industrial consumables (wire, cable, fasteners, abrasive, adhesive, etc.) to Engineers / OEM's, is anything but your stereotypical industrial supply company. Due to their "can do attitude" they have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of both their service and, their most important component, the staff.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion they now require an experienced BDM to concentrate on sales of industrial cables into OEMs/engineering/manufacturing. The role involves:
*Proactively pursuing new clients within the engineering/manufacturing/OEM sector.
*Account managing approx. several large existing accounts with considerable potential for growth.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Developer with the following qualities:
*B2B Sales background.
*Experience of developing existing business.
*Successful history in proactively winning new business and then assuming responsibility for managing it.
*Experience of this route to market (engineering, oem, manufacturing, etc).
*Experience selling and knowledge of cables is essential.
