Procurement Assistant /SAP Admin

SALARY: £22,000 Basic, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Healthcare cashback scheme, etc.
Our Northamptonshire based client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well-trained and motivated workforce.
Due to an internal promotion they now require a Procurement Administrator to join their supportive team. Your role within the Procurement Team will include;
-Placing orders for Raw Material
-Checking order confirmations against SAP
-General procurement/buying/purchasing admin
-Maintain and update approved suppliers list and certificates for appropriate compliance
-Work closely with Buyers dealing with on raising complaints and monitoring upgrades
-Obtaining quotes, placing orders, docket creation, reconciling orders and invoices for ad hoc one off and factored Items
-Scanning of delivery notes into SAP
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career. The following experience would be beneficial;
-Great Admin skills
-Confidence dealing with external suppliers gained in a procurement/purchasing/buying role
-Experience working for a manufacturer
