JOB TITLE: Mortgage and Protection Advisor
JOB SUMMARY: To provide Mortgage and Projection advise to clients

LOCATION: Ilford - Essex
SALARY: £28'000 (pro rata) 40%-60% contract.
MUST HAVES: CeMAP Qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Working Hours: (Permanent and Part Time) Mon-Fri. (Weekday appointments as required.)
Timeline: Immediate interviews and start date.

The COMPANY
Working as part of a small niche legal organisation who pride themselves on an offering professional legal and adverse credit advise. My Client is looking to expand due to a demand from customers looking for mortgage advise.

The ROLE
This role has been created by a need to offer a mortgage and protection service. You will head the department and solely be responsible for all mortgage and protection advise. The role will involve all aspects of Mortgage broking, including pre-sale preparation and the preparation of mortgage & insurance illustrations. You will be working closely with the legal team to ensure that all client communications are managed correctly and to continue to develop client relationships.

The successful candidate will be required to:
*Arrange mortgage and mortgage related products on behalf of my client's customers
*Ensure all leads are followed up and managed in a timely manner
*Undertaking telephone fact-finds as required
*Focus on providing the highest level of mortgage advice to customers
*Following the mortgage sales process, ensuring full compliance always
*To meet and maintain compliance with all competency guidelines
*Focused on agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
*Ensure that all documentation is current and up to date
*Keep up to date with products changes and regulatory requirements.
*Ensure that all current regulation guidelines are met, including GDPR, and anti-money laundering
*Self-motivated

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Mortgage and Protection Advisor with the following experience:
*Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding Communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.
*Full CeMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent
*Experience of Financial Services sales and an understanding of compliance regulations.
*Highly competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
*Full driving licence.
