Admin Assistant - Payroll - 6 Month Contract
SALARY: £18-23,000 & attractive package
Please note this is a contract role - minimum of 6 months
Our Northamptonshire based client is a market leading manufacturer turning over in excess of £100M. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
They now require an Administrator to join their Payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for helping with all aspects of preparing and running a complex weekly and monthly payroll system for c.650 staff - this will include;
*Assume responsibility for managing Time & Attendance data
*Preparing journals prior to running the final Payroll
*Liaising with employees and management to ensure that correct figures are obtained
*Extensive use of Excel
*General admin duties
Our client is looking for strong team player with the ability and flexibility to quickly adapt to new systems. You will possess;
*Excellent Excel knowledge
*Good mathematical skills
*Strong Admin skills and attention to detail
*Good computer skills
*Understanding of a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
*25 days paid holiday. Plus statutory Bank Holidays.
*Death in service pays 4 times annual salary tax free.
*Automatically entered into Health Care Cash Back Scheme (Level 2), with benefits such as up to £105 back for new spectacles and a similar amount for dental expenses.
*Auto enrolled into pension scheme administered by Standard Life. 3% employee/2% employer rising to 5%/3% in 2019.
