Our client is an independent company which has carved itself a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhaust systems, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufactures utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success.

There is now an opportunity for an experienced Materials Planning Administrator to join their team on a Job Share/Part Time basis - approx. 21 hours a week, ideally working either school hours (10am.-3pm) or afternoons although they are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
In this varied and challenging role you will be required to:

*Use an MRP system to:
oProcess sales orders and call-off requirements
oRaise purchase orders, expedite as appropriate
oManage stock levels for production sites
oSchedule work orders and process completed orders
oEnsure customer orders are despatched on time
oRaise sales and purchase order invoices
*Work with the other Materials Planning Administrator and rest of team
*Liaise with customers and suppliers
*Produce regular reports of order situation, problem areas and achievements

Develop this role to best suit the business needs.

The successful MRP Administrator will already understand the processes from order to delivery, how production is planned and customer orders met. Applicants will therefore possess the following:

*Good communication skills
*Knowledge of sales, purchasing, and/or work order processes preferred
*Must have MRP system experience
*Must be a team player with a "Can Do" attitude
*Should have an analytical approach to problem resolution
*May be required to work additional hours to meet workload
*Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations

*Basic starting salary c.£12ph. for 21 hours a week
