Key Account Manager - Packaging
LOCATION: Scunthorpe
SALARY: c.£40K depending on experience - Car, 25 Days holiday
The COMPANY
Our Scunthorpe based client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to an internal promotion they now require an experienced Sales & Commercial Manager to assume responsibility for all commercial activities. You will be responsible for;
*External business development, you will be tasked with winning additional business.
*Key Account Management of the Clients 7 largest customers.
*Take commercial control, ensuring that all business is profitable.
*Making commercial decisions on behalf of the business to balance: price, capacity & cost
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a similar environment would be beneficial. The right candidate will possess;
*Sales experience
*Skilled account manager
*Business development/new business drive
*Commercial acumen
*The desire and ability to manage a team
*Experience within a manufacturer
*Packaging experience would be advantageous
