SALARY: £30-35K depending on experience

Our Cambridgeshire based client is one of the UK's leading independent designer and manufacturer of harnesses, looms, cable assemblies, connectors, etc. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.

They now require an enthusiastic and well motivated Sales Engineer to promote their non connector business (harnesses, looms, cable assemblies, sub assembly, etc) to the OEM's/machine builders in the region.

Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, the Sales Manager is due to retire within two years so there is a genuine opportunity to build a sales team, experience within a similar environment would be beneficial. The right candidate will possess;
*Sales experience
*Tenacious nature as this is a predominantly new business role
*Technical ability to put together quotations
*Background in mechanical, engineering, electronic, contract manufacturing, etc. would be advantageous
