Service Engineer - Medical Equipment

SALARY: £28-33,000 Basic
PACKAGE: Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme, 25 Days Annual Holiday & 8 Bank Holidays,
Life Assurance/Death In Service - 4 x Annual Salary, etc.
Our Northamptonshire based client is the UK's leading independent expert specialising in the repair and servicing of electronic medical equipment/instrumentation . They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of the service they provide. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
Due to continued expansion they now require an additional Field and Workshop Engineer to join their team. Initially predominantly workshop based as your knowledge and skill levels increase so will your salary (+£35K) and the amount of time spent on customers premises. Your role will include;
*Installing & commissioning medical equipment
*Repairing & regular maintenance of ultrasound machines
*Technical advice to both internal and external customers
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career. You must be able to demonstrate;
*Strong electronics knowledge
*Experience of working with Medical or Laboratory electronics
*Good team player
*Take pride in your work
*Excellent communication skills as this is a customer facing role
*Technical qualification would be advantageous
*High level of dexterity
*Driving license - as the role develops you will be increasingly off site
