Production Operative- Nights
ALTERNATIVE JOB TITLES: Factory Worker, Machine Operative, Process Worker, Semi-skilled operative, Process Operatives
SALARY: £19,100 (rising when fully trained to £20,300) + Overtime
PACKAGE: Includes attendance bonus of up to £500, 23 days holiday rising to 25 in 2018 plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Healthcare cashback scheme, etc.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 10.00pm - 06.00am Mon to Thursday and 18.00 - 24.00 Friday - 38.50 hours per week - rate of pay starts at £9.06 per hour increasing to £10.16ph after initial training, with further staged increases to +£13ph as skill set develops.
Our Northamptonshire based client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
Due to continued expansion they now require additional Process Operatives to join their nightshift team. Working as a part of a ten person team you will initially begin as a stacker feeder, but will quickly learn all the other additional roles within the cell required to successfully manufacture packaging. The more you learn the better rewarded you will be - the hourly rate can increase from £9.06 by increments as you successfully master new skills.
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a manufacturing/production environment would be advantageous.
