Business Development Manager - Adhesives
Salary: c.£35K Basic + £6K OTE + Car + Pension.

Our client, a Global distributor of engineering spares/industrial consumables (wire, cable, fasteners, abrasive, adhesive, etc.) to engineers/OEM's, is anything but your stereotypical industrial supply company. Due to their "can do attitude" they have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of both their service and, their most important component, the staff.
The specialist adhesives division is enjoying a period of sustained growth, their turnover increased by a third in 2013 to approaching £20M.
Due to continual expansion they now require an experienced field sales engineer to specifically assume responsibility for the sale of adhesives in the South of England. The role involves:
*Account managing an existing portfolio of OEM accounts. 70 % of your time will be spent managing this well established account base
*Providing technical adhesive advice, emphasis on structural adhesives (air dried, evaporation, curing, thermoset, etc.)
*Proactively pursuing new clients within the engineering, manufacturing and OEM sectors
Our client is looking for an experienced field sales engineer/sales representative with the following qualities:
*B2B Sales background.
*It is essential that the right candidate has relevant adhesives knowledge
*Experience of developing existing business.
*Successful history in proactively winning new business and then assuming responsibility for managing it.
*Experience of this route to market (engineering, oem, manufacturing, etc).
