JOB TITLE: Geotechnical Engineer
LOCATION: Southampton
SALARY: £30-45K DOE+ 5% pension contribution + 25 days holiday + other benefits including free fruit!

The COMPANY
My client are one of the UK's leading Multi-disciplinary civil engineering consultancy; specialising in major infrastructure projects and landmark buildings. The ROLE
The successful Geotechnical Engineer candidate will be required to conduct:
*Desk studies,
*Ground investigations,
*Groundwater and gas risk assessments
*Preparation of remediation method statements.
*To provide clients with geotechnical/geo-environmental advice and assistance
*To assist with negotiations with relevant regulatory authorities (NHBC, EA, LA etc.)

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Geotechnical Engineer applicants with the following experience:
*Relevant experience, gained in ground investigation, interpretation and reporting.
*Good academic background in geology, civil engineering, environmental science etc.
*Possess the desire to Work towards Chartered Engineer/Geologist status.
