Helpdesk - 2nd / 3rd Line IT Support
SALARY: £30,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience + £5,000 car allowance
Our client has a network of local IT support offices staffed by experienced business and technical specialists. They provide a proactive and bespoke service, including a mixture of onsite visits and unlimited helpdesk support, designed to offer both corporate and SME businesses the appropriate level of back-up that is required.
The successful IT Support Technician, who will be based at one of our client's key accounts, will be required to:
*Provide technical support to both your Client and 2nd line colleagues, via telephone, using remote access software and face to face with users at our Client's sites
*This role is based at one of our largest Clients' sites, supporting 400+ users across 12 sites throughout the UK
*Support a complex Data Centre based Infrastructure.
*Develop and enhance the IT environment through implementing technical projects.
*Log, manage, escalate where appropriate and resolve client issues. Carry out the next step agreement of call-backs and post-call closure to provide the highest levels of service.
*Identify added-value services for clients.

Our client is looking for a successful 2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Analyst with the following experience:
*In-depth knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix Xenapp/Xenserver and Cisco environments
*You will have experience of configuring Microsoft server products (Windows 2003/2008 Server, Exchange 2010)
*You will have extremely good knowledge of TCP/IP, Wide Area Networking and Local Area Network setup (including routers, switches and VLAN's).
*Citrix Provisioning Services, System Center configuration manager and VMWare would be advantageous
*A proven track record in second /third line IT support.
*Sound questioning and troubleshooting skills.
*Full UK driving licence
