JOB TITLE: IT Sales Consultant
JOB SUMMARY: You will work closely with our Clients, Account Managers and Technical Consultants; cultivating successful relationships, endearing those they interact with to procure their hardware/software through the Internal Sales Team.

LOCATION: Peterborough
SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 + commission (OTE £45,000)
MUST HAVES: Previous Business to Business sales experience, preferably within IT or understanding of IT industry

The COMPANY
Our client is has a network of local IT support offices staffed by experienced business and technical specialists. They offer a proactive and bespoke service includes a mix of onsite visits and unlimited helpdesk support that give your users the help they need; whether it's fully outsourced IT support or supplementary help for an in-house team

The ROLE
To join an internal sales team (with external visits) and work with a dedicated, loyal client base.
The successful Sales Consultant will be required to:
*Sell hardware and software to an existing client base.
*Work as part of a team of dedicated sales professionals
*Take ownership of up to 50 client relationships
*Translating a business problem into a technical solution
*Building trusted relationships with key identified stakeholders in each of your clients and your technical consultancy and helpdesk teams.
*Identifying and securing contract revenue opportunities
*Visiting at least 3 client per month

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Sales applicants with the following experience:
*Hungry, talented and motivated sales professional
*History of hitting and exceeding sales targets
*Understanding of IT industry and experience of IT Sales
*Responsible for the entire sales process, not just the sale price, but the purchase price, purchasing, delivery and after sales care
*Excellent communication skills.
