JOB TITLE: Senior Structural Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:

LOCATION: Leeds
SALARY: £45,000 - £47,500pa + package
MUST HAVES: This candidate will be a Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStruct E) and have a minimum 5 years post chartered design experience in a UK based consultancy with experience working in the commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure, residential and retail sectors.

The COMPANY
My client are a Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy. Covering the whole of the country, they are a well-established and acknowledged market provider of professional management and engineering design services

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Work on builds in a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure, residential and retail; both new build and refurbishment projects
*Mentor junior members of staff
*Deliver scheme designs and provide input to scheme design reports
*Deliver proposals with detailed designs
*Liaise with key stakeholders

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Hold Chartered Engineer Status (MIStructE)
*Minimum of five year's post chartered experience within a consultancy
*Hold relevant degree/equivalent
*Experienced with builds in various sectors
*Strong communication and IT skills
*knowledge of the Eurocodes and Finite Element Analysis packages is essential
*Proficient in the design of all structural materials
*Possess a sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulation
