JOB TITLE: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
JOB SUMMARY: Taking lead responsibility in preparation & submission of detailed design and co-ordination of building services. Design includes: low voltage distribution, small power, communications, lighting, fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, access control and lighting protection.

LOCATION: Corby
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000pa + package
MUST HAVES: Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; experienced in building services design; experience working in consultancy environment.

The COMPANY
My client are a M&E consultancy who work across a range of sectors to support construction teams, architects and designers bring projects to life. Working on projects in the defence, healthcare, industrial, residential, leisure and education sectors.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Allocate and monitor project tasks
*Produce cost plans, pre-tender estimates and cost comparisons
*Produce project plans
*Prepare programmes for design and pre-construction
*Prepare written reports
*Produce design sketches and design drawings for CAD
*Produce written specs

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*ONC/HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
*Hold Chartered Status (or working towards)
*Experienced AutoCAD and REVIT user
*Experienced working on range of projects in all industries/sectors
*Strong and confident communicator
*Experience in working on construction projects
*Ability to manage Junior Staff
