JOB TITLE: Mechanical / Building Performance Engineer

MUST HAVES: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services; experience of project and team management.

The COMPANY
My client are a Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and specialist land remediation contractor; specialising in major infrastructure projects and landmark buildings. Working in a wide range of industries such as commercial, manufacturing, logistics, retail and residential for a wide range of end users.

This role is part of the Building Performance Team who offers expertise in building design including acoustics, building physics, M&E Systems, Lighting, public health and low to zero carbon technologies.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Act as a lead designer on various projects at differing stages
*Deliver detailed designed including full tender and construction packages
*Liaise with Design Team and other relevant internal and external stakeholders
*Complete accurate analysis and design calculations
*You will be client facing and mentor junior members of staff with their development as well as ensuring your own CPD is up to date

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
*Experienced Designer within building services, M&E, lighting, fire systems or low to zero carbon tech.
*Experienced with Client Liaison, team management and project management
*Excellent knowledge of the design and construction process
*Strong IT competency
*Revit/3D BIM knowledge and experience
