The COMPANY
Our client, a Global distributor of engineering spares/industrial consumables (wire, cable, fasteners, abrasive, adhesive, technical tapes, etc.) to engineers/OEM's, is anything but your stereotypical industrial supply company. Due to their "can do attitude" they have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of both their service and, their most important component, the staff.
The ROLE
They now require an experienced OEM New Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands area:
*Proactively pursuing significant sized new clients within the engineering/manufacturing/OEM sector
*Account managing a small portfolio of target Key Accounts
*It is envisaged that the wire & cable sector will be an area of growth
*Actively promoting the Client's JIT (Just In Time)/Managed Inventory/Material Management/Value Added Propositions
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an experienced field sales engineer/sales representative/BDM with the following qualities:
*OEM Sales background.
*Experience of targeting and securing business within large OEM's is essential
*Successful history in proactively winning new business and then assuming responsibility for managing it.
*Experience of this route to market (engineering, oem, manufacturing, etc).
*Knowledge of wire & cable, fasteners, adhesives or industrial consumables.
