JOB TITLE: Contracts Manager
JOB SUMMARY: To run construction projects from design through to completion and handover.
LOCATION: Hertfordshire
SALARY: £40,000 - 60,000pa + package
MUST HAVES: Experience of project management, procurement, valuations and estimating projects and works.
The COMPANY
A small, well established construction firm with a strong list of clients including (education and local authorities) who have worked on multiple projects together.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Have full responsibility for day to day running of projects ranging in value from £250k - multi-million pound
*Manage site staff and sub-contractors throughout life of project
*Liaise with clients, external consultants, architects and site staff
*Control all project communications
*Oversee all project procurement
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Strong experience in Project Management and Contract Management
*Stable career history
*Knowledge and experience of procurement, estimating and valuation
*Experience of Site Management and management of sub-contractors
*Good commercial awareness
