Machine Tool Designer/Applied Engineering Designer

The ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Applied Engineering Designer/CNC Machine Tool Designer to join their successful team

The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a talented Machine Tool Designer with experience, preferably within a similar environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

* A background in Machine Tool or Special Purpose Machinery design.
* Solidworks 3D CAD experience.
* Knowledge of modern Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
* Able to produce 3D Schemes of machines prior to final design.
* Ability to functionally dimension 2D drawings created from 3D Models.
* A good knowledge of appropriate limits and fits and geometrical tolerancing.
* A team player who enjoys a challenge.


Salary: c.£45K-£60K + Package
