JOB TITLE: Senior / Principal Bridge Engineer

The ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Bridge Engineer/Principal Bridge Engineer to build your career within the team for this well established consultancy. The Bridge Engineer candidate will be required to lead bridge designs acting as mentor to junior members, providing advice and guidance utilising previous project knowledge. This is a hybrid role with considerable flexibility, but you will be required to regularly work from one of their offices in Cambridgeshire or Lincolnshire.

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience:

* Qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Ideally membership of relevant professional engineering institution.
* Experienced Civil Engineer
* Bridge engineering experience
* Recent hands on bridge design.
* MIDAS Bridge software knowledge.
* Understanding and experience of Eurocodes and their application to bridge design.
* Experienced in the design of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge structures.
* Good understanding of CDM requirements.
