Electrical Controls Design Engineer
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established manufacturer of automotive test equipment. Their market leading comprehensive product range means that they have gained an enviable global reputation synonymous with excellence amongst the myriad of vehicle manufacturers who rely on their machinery. Their continued commitment to investing in R&D means that they are now the acknowledged market leaders for test equipment within EV (Electric Vehicle) manufacturers. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable local staff to complement their outstanding existing team.
The ROLE
Due to a bulging long term order book they now require additional Electrical Controls Design Engineer to design and develop high voltage bespoke test machine mainly for the automotive industry. The minutia of the role includes;
* Design using EPlan (training on software provided)
* Updating existing and creating new designs
* Liasing with suppliers, both for technical issues and pricing
* Assist internal stakeholders with technical queries throughout the process

The CANDIDATE
The successful Electrical Controls Design Engineer candidate will be;
* Strong background in Electrical Engineer
* Electrical design experience
* Control system knowledge
* Excellent communication skills
Allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation.
Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package
PACKAGE includes;
37 ½ hour week, with flexible start times 7.00am to 9.30am.
Early finish on a Friday
Overtime paid at "time & a half" - or time in lieu
Pension - 6% company contribution
25 Days leave (rising to 30 with service)+ statutory holidays
Annual bonus
