Assistant Accountant/Part Qualified Accountant
Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire

The COMPANY

Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.

The ROLE

Due an internal promotion within their EMEA business an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant/PQ Accountant to join their successful team. This role will involve;

* Intercompany transactions
* Bank reconciliations
* Foreign entity/foreign exchange
* Treasury
* Reconciliations
* Cash flow
* Produce monthly financial statements

This is not just "average" Assistant Accountant role, the right candidate will be a key member of teams working on international projects, some worth several million, that may take up to two years to complete and involve staged invoicing - as such you will be actively encouraged to reach your potential and become CIMA/ACCA qualified.

The CANDIDATE

The successful Assistant Accountant will be a talented professional with experience preferably within a similar manufacturing environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

* Accountancy - PQ working towards CIMA/ACCA or fully AAT with ambition to go to next stage
* Group Accounts experience
* Exposure to international transactions/VAT
* Experience working in a finance department in industry
* Sage 200 would be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills
* Ambitious


Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package
