JOB TITLE: Automation - Product Sales Specialist
LOCATION: Bristol
SALARY: £34,000 - £38,000 (£46,000 - £50,000 OTE)
MUST HAVES: The ideal candidate would have several years of Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, would have an understanding of networks in particular Ethernet/IP, Modbus Profinet. They would also have extensive knowledge of Automation, Control and architecture.

Our client is the leading suppliers of industrial control and automation products in the UK. They have secured a nationwide network of sales locations employing over 300 personnel.

The ROLE
The successful Product Sales Specialist will be required to:
*Responsibility for the profitable growth of the Automation and Software business in their relevant geographical area.
*To promote the day to day sales activity of A&S products
*To be instrumental in targeting and converting New Business development opportunities and priority target accounts.
*Attend joint customer visits with Sales Engineers, Sales Managers and Product Sales Specialist members from other teams to all accounts.
*The job will cover Bristol, Cardiff and Southampton.

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*The ideal candidate would have several years of Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and would have an understanding of networks in particular Ethernet/IP, Modbus Profinet. They would also know about higher software products used to gather data into customer ERP systems.
*The job calls for a person who enjoys dealing with people, creating and maintaining relationships as well as making a good impression both personally and for the organisation.
*A good level of education is required; HNC/HND in electrical engineering (or equivalent electrical engineering qualification) would be advantageous.
*Extensive practical knowledge of Automation, Control, and architecture is required.
