JOB TITLE: Business Data Analyst - Six month contract
JOB SUMMARY: To interrogate data and obtain usable intelligence from a suite of internal systems as well as gathering data from external research sources. This is a six month contract role with the potential to go permanent although this is not guaranteed.

LOCATION: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
SALARY: £22,000 - £27,000pa
MUST HAVES: Experience in Analyst role. Good knowledge of working with databases. Strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills.

The COMPANY
Our client is a leading trade guild who have around a quarter of UK manufacturers as members. They offer business services and support as well as acting as a lobbying voice to the Government.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*To interrogate data from internal systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, MatterSphere, Web site, Eloqua, Coursebooker, Sun Financial) and a range of external databases (e.g. Factiva, Avention (OneSource), ONS statistics, Companies House).
*Analyse and compile data from different systems to help identify target companies and markets and other key data
*Interpretation of data from several sources both internal and external to be able to adequately support requests
*Liaise with other internal departments in order to ascertain requirements

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Minimum of two years in a similar Analytical role
*Knowledge and experience of using databases and software such as Microsoft Dynamics, MatterSphere, Web site, Eloqua, Coursebooker, Sun Financial, Factiva, Avention (OneSource), ONS statistics, Companies House).
*Good knowledge of business data analysis,
*High levels of IT competency and demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office package including Access, Visio and PowerPoint
*Able to work accurately and to deadlines
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*An enquiring mind
*Flexible to change direction as business needs change
