JOB TITLE: Commercial/General Manager

The COMPANY
Our client is an innovative and successful plastic recycling company with a history of success throughout Europe. We are proud to be helping them with their ongoing expansion within the UK.

The ROLE
They now require a commercially minded General Manager to take P+L responsibility and assume full control of a plastic recycling plant. The successful candidate will be required to:

*Assume strategic direction
*Drive material growth in the fast-developing plastic recycling market
*Manage Key Account relationships
*Lead and develop the team
*Use your commercial and technical acumen to develop new clients
*Regular reporting to Group Board

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:

*Commercial/Sales focused approach
*Strong leadership/managerial skills
*Good appreciation of financials and how to act on them
*Demonstrate experience in manufacturing or site leadership
*Track record of scaling a business via new client acquisition
*Experience in commodity products/materials
