The COMPANY

The manufacture of close tolerance components, from raw material, castings, fabrications and forgings for use in precision assemblies is their specialty. Small components are manufactured using a variety of vertical machining centres, horizontal and vertical lathes. Large components are manufactured using our twin pallet horizontal borer and other large milling and turning machine tools. The ROLE
Following a period of concerted inward investment they are now searching for an additional moulder/coremaker to work in their highly successful iron foundry. You will be tasked with:

*Producing moulds and cores
*Utilising boxed and boxless moulding techniques
*Operate sand mixing equipment
*As an integral part of the casting team help with pouring molten metal

The CANDIDATE
The right candidate will possess the following skill set:

* Background in heavy industry
* Foundry knowledge
* The ability to read engineering drawings would be an advantage
* Proactive team orientated attitude
* Experience as a Coremaker/Moulder is not essential, but obviously pay rate is dependent on experience
