JOB TITLE: Estimator
JOB SUMMARY: To support the Pre-Construction Team and help deliver target cost schemes across multiple projects.
LOCATION: Northants
SALARY: £25-35,000pa
MUST HAVES: Educated to HNC as minimum, experience of estimating within Construction or Civil Engineering, cost planning knowledge and experience of estimating software.
The COMPANY
My client are a leading contractor within the construction and civil engineering industry with projects varying from highways/infrastructure to bridge repairs and commercial builds.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Prepare tenders to secure projects
*Design and build tenders for new build and refurb projects
*Prepare clear and accurate quarterly forecasts
*Promote company policies and delivering accurate cost submissions
*Carrying out project site visits as required
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Qualification in Quantity Surveying or other relevant subject
*Experience of estimating within construction or civil engineering
*Cost planning knowledge
*Experience of estimating software
*Skilled negotiator
*Good command and communication of oral and written English
