Field Sales Consultant - Education Sector
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (£31,000 - £35,000+ OTE + excellent benefits package)
Contract Type: Permanent
Applicants MUST HAVE: Previous Business to Business field sales experience preferably in the education field, although this is not essential.
Our client is a leading developer and publisher of web-based educational content who employ over 100 staff. Our client is passionate about its product offering which is used and trusted in over 15,000 subscribing schools as part of their everyday teaching. Our client pioneers the evolution of teaching with technology.
The successful Field Sales candidate will be required to:
*To be the outward face of our client in terms of relationship building, key account management, and key account sales.
*Maximising new business sales and renewals.
*To attend pre-arranged (by the internal sales team) appointments with Schools, Local Authorities, Academy chains, Nurseries, Libraries etc.
*Project-manage and support sales promotions direct to schools that are carried out by the Internal Sales Team.
*Providing onsite training and support for potential and existing customers.
*Work with the Marketing Dept. to produce bespoke marketing material.
*Event-manage and attend Regional, National and International conferences.
*Be in the office twice a week, although due to field visits, this can be variable.

Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Experience of a consultative field sales role.
*Experience of the E-Learning and Education market desirable but not essential.
*Sound knowledge of a sales process and a sales cycle.
*Experience of account management
*Minimum of 3 A-levels or equivalent.
*Confident verbal and written communication requires good verbal communication such as a customer-facing role.
*Capable of delivering presentations for potentially a large audience in a room.
