JOB TITLE: Internal Business Development Executive

JOB SUMMARY: Contacting businesses on a pre-cleaned database in order to generate new business appointments

LOCATION: High Wycombe
SALARY: £18,000 - £22,000 + commission (OTE £25,000)
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

MUST HAVES: Previous Business to Business sales experience, preferably within IT. Although with the right aptitude, this is not essential.

The COMPANY
Our client is has a network of local IT support offices staffed by experienced business and technical specialists. They offer a proactive and bespoke service includes a mix of onsite visits and unlimited helpdesk support that give your users the help they need; whether it's fully outsourced IT support or supplementary help for an in-house team

The ROLE
To join an internal sales team (with external visits) and work with a dedicated, loyal client base. The successful Sales Consultant will be required to:

*Obtain and schedule appointments for consultants to meet with prospective clients to sell IT service contracts.
*Confirming meeting details, purpose & objectives prior to the appointment
*Following up initial sales contacts by letter
*Explaining products/services & answer prospect's questions
*Prequalifying prospects against company criteria
*Obtaining & updating prospect information
*Conducting client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential clients.
*Identifying and carrying out National and Local promotional activity to build brand awareness to support and enhance your job
*Work with marketing to create marketing campaigns to gain new business meetings.

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Sales applicants with the following experience:
*Service selling experience
*Supervisory experience
*IT industry enthusiasm
*Experience of:
oappointment generation ideally for IT Services
osuccessfully developing & maintaining relationships
oproducing reports & presenting data
ocommunicating with client
*A professional telephone manner
*Active listening skills
*A proactive & motivated approach to customer services and winning new business
*The ability to identify opportunities & leads
*Expert negotiator with an intuitive marketing ability
*Ambitious, articulate, self-motivated, results orientated, have attention to detail & be a team player

*An understanding of the SME market.
